Industry Impact

The purpose of the Industry Impact Working Group is to create positive industry impact through developing and distributing guidelines and policy, including:

1. create positive industry impact through the development of guidelines and policy for the LGBTQ+ community; and

2. curate a library of LGBTQ+ resources for Members and employers.

Governance

The purpose of our Governance and Memberships group is to administer and maintain InterBuild’s governance structure, including:

1. ensure that the governance of InterBuild occurs according to our House Rules;

2. conduct and oversee elections of the InterBuild Chair and Steering Committee;

3. support and advise the Steering Committee in the administration of InterBuild;

4. onboard new members.

Events & Comms

The purpose of our Events and Communications Working Group is to:

1. organise LGBTQ+ industry-focused events, including social. educational and networking events for LGBTQ+ people in our industry and our allies;

2. help celebrate days of significance including Wear It Purple and other significant LGTBQ+ days of significance; and

3. manage InterBuild's digital content and communications.

People Engagement

The purpose of our People Engagement Working Group is to:

1. partner and engage with organisations that share similar values and interests of InterBuild;

2. find ways to remove barriers to LGBTQ+ inclusion outside of CBD corporate office environments by implementing the Working off the Barriers to LGBTQ+ Inclusion research report undertaken by UNSW; and

3. promote interstate expansion of InterBuild.
